Error Messages

The T.37 option will always generate an error messages when it cannot process the
received file. It will also generate error messages when it has a SMTP or POP3 protocol
failure. These reports are printed on the machine that has the T.37 option installed.
In addition, the T.37 option can be configured to send an error message to the originator of
the E-mail and to an E-mail address programmed into the machine. Your Service
Technician can configure this capability.
Other error messages will appear on the LCD to indicate problems. These messages are
self-explanatory and indicate operation faults.
Error Messages Reports
Internet Fax(Option)
REPORT 1: The data received cannot be printed (TIFF Error)
This message indicates that the machine could not process the TIFF
file attachment due to a problem with the TIFF file format.
REPORT 2: The data received cannot be printed (MIME Error)
This message indicates that the machine could not process the
attachment due to an error in the E-mail encoding.
REPORT 3: Machine memory full (RX)
This message indicates that the machine memory was full when the
E-mail was received. The E-mail is first received into memory and
then printed.
REPORT 4: Message/Delivery-status (RX)
This is a message delivered from the E-mail server indicating a
problem with the delivery of the outgoing message. This is an
automatic E-mail generated by the E-mail server.
REPORT 5: E-mail server memory full (TX)
This message indicates that the outgoing E-mail server has no room
for the message.
REPORT 6: TX Error (SMTP Communication Error)
This message indicates the machine encountered a problem when
communicating with the outbound mail server(SMTP server).
REPORT 7: RX Error (POP3 Communication Error)
This message indicates the machine had a problem when polling the
inbound (receive)E-mail server(POP3 server).
