Basic Operations of Internet Fax
Manual Transmission(Single Location)
The procedure to manually send an E-mail message from your device is very similar to
manually transmitting a document to a facsimile device over the telephone line.

Place the documents in the
Document Feeder.

Press the Mail key on the control panel.

Enter the E-mail address. Then press START to
begin the transmission.

If you want to change the FROM: location in the E-
mail message, press the Down Arrow key.

Enter the E-mail address you want to appear in the
FROM and press START. If you want to change
the location for reply, press the Down Arrow key.

Enter the E-mail address for replies and press
START. If you want to change the encoding
method used for the TIFF attachment, press the
Down Arrow key.

Use the Left/Light Arrow key to change the coding
selection. You must be sure that the remote
location can handle the coding type. Then press
YES to transmit.
