Relay TX allows the operator to make one long distance call to a remote unit and
the remote unit will relay the message to one or more fax units in the local area.
With this function, you can save valuable time and telephone charges. This
function can also instruct the remote fax machine to send an activity report to one
of its One-Touch or Speed Dial locations.
Note: If no One-Touch or Speed Dial keys were set up, no reports will
be generated.
Procedure

Select the Original Type, Resolution if
necessary, and place your document in the
Document Feeder Tray face down.

Press the Function key and press 8 to select
the Relay Initiate menu.

The following messages appear briefly to
confirm your selection.

Enter the destination fax number.

Enter the 20-digit Relay Box ID.

Enter the 20-digit password.
