If copies turn out to be lighter or darker than the originals despite being copied with
the standard or center copy exposure value, you will have to recalibrate the copy
exposure settings of the copier.

The default setting is the center value of a scale from 1 to 5.

This function enables you to recalibrate the copier when you notice irregularities in
the color of the copy. The procedure involves making test prints and placing them
on the platen glass for scanning. The copier will then be automatically recalibrated.
