When making copies of 11" x 17"-size originals, the maximum number of sets that can be
specified at one time is 25. If you enter a number greater than 25, the number is
automatically changed to 25 when you press

If the number of originals exceeds 20, the copies for the 21
the last page will be output to the lowermost bin.

The maximum number of copies that can be delivered to each of the bins is as follows:
- LTR, LTRR: 30 sheets (20 to 28-lb bond (80 to 104.7 g/m
15 sheets (60-lb cover or 90-lb index to 110-lb index (157 to 209 g/m
- 11" x 17", LGL: 25 sheets (20 to 28-lb bond (80 to 104.7 g/m

Once the output exceeds the capacity of the bins, copying will temporarily stop and will
only resume after all the output copies are removed from the bins.

Sorting may be interrupted if the copy exposure on the front and rear sides of two-sided
copies is markedly different. If the <Stopped due to incorrect loading. Remove paper
from the sorter.> message is displayed, remove all the output copies from the bins.
Staple-sort Function
The Staple-sort function automatically sorts copies into sets arranged in page order
and staples them together. Copies are output into the bins in the manner shown in
the illustration below.
