Receiving Faxes

Problem
The FAX-L360 cannot
receive faxes
automatically?
The FAX-L360 will not
switch between
telephone and fax calls
automatically?

Possible cause
The FAX-L360 may not be set to
receive automatically.
The FAX-L360 may have a
document in memory, leaving
very little or no memory available.
An error may have occurred
during reception.
The paper cassette/the multi-
purpose tray may be empty.
The telephone line may not be
connected properly.
The FAX-L360 may not be in Fax/
Tel Mode.
The FAX-L360 may have a
document in memory, leaving
very little or no memory available.
Solution
For the FAX-L360 to receive
faxes automatically, it must be in
FAX ONLY MODE,
ANS.MACHINE MODE, or Fax/
Tel Mode. See page 7-2.
Print out any documents stored in
memory.
See pages 7-13 and 7-14.
Check the LCD display for an
error message. See page 13-38 for
a listing of the FAX-L360's error
messages.
Print an activity report and look
for an error code. See page 12-2.
Make sure the paper cassette/the
multi-purpose tray has paper in it.
Make sure all telephone line
connections are secure.
For the FAX-L360 to switch
automatically between telephone
and fax calls, it must be in Fax/Tel
Mode.

Print out any documents stored in
