PANEL DESCRIPTION

q AF VOLUME CONTROL KNOB [VOL]
Rotate the knob to adjust the audo output level.
• Mnmum audo level s preprogrammed.
w LED INDICATOR
➥ Lghts red whle transmttng a sgnal.
➥ Lghts green whle recevng a sgnal.
e UP/DOWN KEYS [CH Up]/[CH Down]
Push to select an operatng channel, etc.

r POWER SWITCH [
Hold down for 1 second to turn the power ON or OFF.
• Automatc scan start, Password prompt and User Set mode ac-
cess are avalable at power ON.

y MICROPHONE CONNECTOR
Connect the suppled or optonal mcrophone.
NEVER connect non-specfied mcrophones. The pn
assgnments may be dfferent and may damage the
transcever.
D MICROPHONE
The suppled mcrophone has a PTT swtch and a hanger.
• The followng functons are avalable when you put the mcrophone
ON hook, or take t OFF hook (dependng on the pre-programmed
settngs):
- Automatc scan starts when you put t ON hook.
- Scan s paused or cancelled when you take t OFF hook.
- Automatcally selects the Prorty A channel when you take t OFF
hook.
- Sets to the 'Inaudble' (mute) mode when you put t ON hook.
- Sets to the 'Audble' (unmute) mode when you take t OFF hook.
