• Transmit inhibit function
The transcever has several nhbt functons whch restrct
transmsson under the followng condtons:
- The channel s n the 'Inaudble' (mute) mode ("
does not appear.)

- The channel s busy. However, dependng on the pre-
programmed settngs, you can transmt when a call s re-
ceved that ncludes an unmatchng (or matchng) CTCSS
(DTCS), colour code, or Indvdual or Talkgroup ID.
- The selected channel s a 'receve only' channel.
• Time-out timer
If contnuous transmsson exceeds the pre-programmed
tme-out tmer lmt, the transmsson s cut off.
• Penalty timer
After the transmsson s cut off by the tme-out tmer, trans-
msson s further nhbted for the pre-programmed penalty
tmer perod.
D TX code channel selection
If the transcever has a key assgned to TX Code CH Select,
the ndcaton can be toggled between the operatng channel
number (or name) and TX code channel number (or name).

When the TX code channel number (or name) s dsplayed,
(Aud-
[CH Up] or [CH Down] selects the TX code channel.
USING [TX CODE CH SELECT]:
q Push [TX Code CH Select]— a TX code channel number
(or name) appears.
w Push [CH Up] or [CH Down] to select the desred TX code
channel.
e After selectng, push [TX Code CH Select] to set.
• Return to the stand-by mode.
r Push [Call] to transmt the selected TX code.
USING [TX CODE CH UP]/[TX CODE CH DOWN]:
If the transcever has a key assgned to TX Code CH Up or
TX Code CH Down, the programmed TX code channel can
be drectly selected when pushed.
