The system checks whether the navigation device is connected to a
smartphone via Bluetooth.
If there is no connection to a smartphone, you will be asked
whether you now want to set up a Bluetooth connection.
The system will check whether the navigation device can use the
smartphone's Internet connection (tethering).
If no connection to the Internet is possible, you will be directed
through the necessary steps. For more details refer to the chapter
"Using the smartphone's Internet connection" on page 159.

access all the services.

Using the smartphone's Internet connection

Alongside the Settings button in the L
for Internet button.
Tap on this button and select the smartphone which you want to
use for the Internet connection.
14.3.2

Weather service

The Weather service service provides up-to-date weather data for
every point of the road network on the navigation maps available. A
weather forecast for the next few days is also available.
Weather data for your current position
This function is interesting above all when you want a weather forecast
for the next few days.
