Expansion Board Guide Removal

Remove the expansion board guide as follows.
1. Remove the system unit cover and front panel as previously described.
2. Locate the board guide on the front inner wall of the chassis.
3. Press the top and bottom sides together to release the locking tabs securing
the board guide to the chassis.
4. Pull the board guide away from the chassis wall and out of the chassis.

Switch Board/IR Panel Assembly Removal

The power, reset, and suspend switches, the power and disk lamps, and the IR
port are all located on the switch board/IR panel assembly. A feature connector
at the rear of the assembly carries signal and power for each these functions
through a single cable to the riser board.
Use the following steps to remove the switch board/IR panel:
1. Remove the system unit cover and front panel as previously described.
A – Power Switch
B – System Lamps
C – Suspend Switch
2. Locate the feature connector on the back of the switch board/IR panel.
Access this connector from the interior of the chassis, through a cutout in the
chassis wall.
