3. Insert the cartridge into the retention mechanism and evenly press down on
the cartridge until it is fully seated in the Slot 1 connector and mechanism.
You should hear a click when the cartridge locks into the retention
mechanism and connector.
4. If you have installed a processor that runs at a different speed that the
previous processor, you must change the processor speed in BIOS. Continue
with step 4 in "Changing Processor Speed" in Section 4. If the new
processor runs at the same speed, continue with the step below.
5. Replace the system unit cover (see "Replacing the Cover").

5 1/4-Inch Device Removal

Remove a 5 1/4-inch device from the system unit as follows.
1. Turn off the system and disconnect the system power cord.
2. Remove the system unit cover (see "Removing the Cover").
3. Remove the Front Panel (see "Front Panel Removal").
4. Label and unplug all signal and power cables from the 5 1/4-inch device to
be removed. If the device is a CD-ROM drive or DVD-ROM drive and the
system is equipped with audio, also unplug the audio cable from the drive.
5. At the front of the chassis, press the locking tabs on either side of the device
toward each other (see the figure on the following page). This frees the tabs
from the brackets on the chassis.

6. Slide the device out of the front of the system unit (see the figure on the
following page).
