Tuple Disable Operation

This command disables (removes) the specified tuple from the active server configuration.
When this command is issued, both the CE and IOP in the specified tuple are disabled.
Warning: If only one CE is in operation, use a Windows NT Shutdown
command whenever possible. This command does not perform a
normal Windows NT shutdown. As a result, you can lose any data
in the disk cache that has not been written to disk.

n – the ID number of the Tuple (1 or 2)
Variables
x – the ID number of the IOP (1 or 2)
If the CE operating system is booted and the CE in the tuple is the only active
Results
CE, the CE operating system is shut down before the tuple is disabled. The
CE and IOP in the specified tuple remain disabled and are not configured into
the server until they are enabled, either together or separately.

Check the tuple status displayed in the Endurance Manager Main
window.
Issue an IOPn.Monitor Show Configuration command from either IOP to
make sure that the CE and IOP are disabled and any associated
components (such as CEn.MIC) are offline.
Review the Windows NT Event Viewer for a message that indicates that
the tuple and its associated CE and IOP were disabled.
