Diagnosing Faults

You can use any of the methods in
Method
Description
Endurance Manager
Use the Administration Window and Device Status Window to
determine if a component, including the MIC, is active or online.
MIC status lights
Displays the power and connection status for the MICs in your
server.
Windows NT Event
Displays all events reported to the Windows NT operating
Viewer
system, including events. Use this log to diagnose potential
faults.
Endurance Event Log
Displays events as they are being logged. The Event Log
Utility
(MTCLOG) is an MS-DOS application that displays only
Endurance events as they occur.
If you are monitoring a server using Remote Endurance Manager, you have access only to
Endurance Manager and Windows NT Event Viewer information.
