Memory Expansion Module (SIMM)
SuperScript 660plus memory can be expanded by
adding a Single Inline Memory Module (SIMM).
Adding the memory expansion module will solve the
memory overflow problem that causes incomplete
page printing. In some cases it may improve printing
throughput.
The 72-pin memory expansion module is available
from your local dealer.
Follow these steps to install the memory expansion
module:
1. Turn OFF the printer power.
Caution! To protect your printer from possible
damage, be sure it is powered down prior to
installation of the module.
2. Remove the power cord from the rear panel of the

printer.
3. Using a coin, turn the screw located on the right
panel of the printer in the direction of the arrow,
and remove the memory cover. You can see the
memory socket on the controller board.
CAUTION! Do not touch any controller board parts
with your fingers.
