A Voltage monitoring transformer (part number 667/7/25172/000) is used per
Outstation when equipped with LMU facilities. The red and black wires connect to
the lamp supply mains live and neutral being monitored (Red to Live and Black to
Neutral). The orange and white output wires connect to PL1. Referring to Figure
35, the orange wire connects to pin 47 (LMU Input 24+ on PLB, i.e. pin 49 on the
Berg mini latch) and the white wire connects to pin 48 (LMU Input 24- on PLB, i.e.
pin 50 on the Berg mini latch).
The transformer should then be anchored to a suitable point in the cabinet.
Voltage sense transformers (667/1/22734/000) are not required with the Integral
OTU. Instead mains states are obtained from aspect drive information passed
from the Controller Main Processor over the extended system bus.

6.3.4 Lamp Monitor Unit - Number of Current and Voltage Sensors

LMU Configuration
Before the detailed configuration of an installation takes place, it is often
necessary to calculate the number of current sensors required. Tables to assist
with this are given on the next page. To use these, fill in the appropriate
information in the spaces provided and a final addition/subtraction of the values
will give the number of sensors required.
Number of Current Sensors
Number of phases (include vehicle, green arrow and pedestrian phases
Number of pedestrian phases with wait indicators
Number of switched sign drives
Number of separately monitored regulatory sign drives
Add one for each monitored load above 4 A RMS
Subtract one for each wait indicator to be monitored by the same
current sensor as the pedestrian phase
Subtract one for each pedestrian phase to be monitored by the same
current sensor as the opposing vehicle phase
Total current sensors
