2.4.8.12 Link Statistics, Key to Press 'L'
This screen gives details of the Ethernet link to the host UTC TCC.
The addresses of the Instation on the
Ethernet
The type of driver card being used -
Thin wire, Thick wire or both as detected
by the driver software
Type of Ethernet card selected when
installation programme used
The type of communication being used
NB The count increments against the
form of communication being used.
Whether or not adapter card has failed.
This is '1' if failed
Count indicating number of times the
status / set up of the link driver has
changed
Details on bad packets from Ethernet
Count of packets that were too short
(since starting PC)
Count of packets with wrong protocol
(since starting PC)
Count of packets which had invalid
destination address i.e. were not
intended to be picked up by this
Instation PC (since starting PC)
Bad Packet Protocol
Bad Packet Source
Bad Packet Destination
2.4.8.13 Free memory, Key to Press 'M'
This gives an indication in Kbytes of the memory free within the PC that the
software could make use of.
2.4.8.14 Telecommand 8 Output, Key to Press 'O'
This screen shows any data being Output (2 words allowed for each OTU) to the
first 88 Telecommand 8 OTUs if there are any connected to the instation. If there
are no TC8 OTUs connected to the Instation this screen is blank.
