When the OTU detects a recognised fault the system error led is
illuminated and an entry made in the fault log. The majority of the
fault flags are set to 1 (i.e. bit 0 set) to indicate a fault, however
flags 0,1 and 2 are a special case where each bit represents a lamp
fault for a particular current sensor. Some fault flags have further
information available in the fault data array that can be accessed
using the GLD command.
Fault Description
Lamp faults sensors 1 to 7
Lamp faults sensors 8 to 15
Lamp fault sensors 16 to 23
Controller dim/bright change failure
As 3 but for second lamp supply
Comment: Indicates that no dim/bright changes have
occurred in a 24 hour period
Too many dim/bright changeovers
As 5 but for second lamp supply
Comment: The allowed number of dim/bright changes
has been exceeded in a 24 hour period
Lamp monitor reset indication
Comment: Warning that the lamp monitor has been
reset by handset command.
Lamp monitor failure
Configuration data for flashing
aspects incorrect
Comment: Not applicable to U.K. Lamp sequences
Configuration Data Fault
Comment: Configuration data corrupted
Reset OTU and re-enter data
