Licenses
Prior to installing ACD on the PC, the following licenses must be obtained. This chapter describes
how to generate and register the appropriate licenses.
Strata CIX License
In order for Strata ACD for MAS to work with Strata CIX, it requires the ACD license on Strata CIX,
LIC-ACD. Follow the instructions given in Chapter 10 of the Strata CIX/CTX Programming Manual
Volume 1.
Network ACD
Important! For Network ACD, all CIX systems using ACD must have a LIC-ACD license.
Following new part numbers (USB Dongles) are introduced for Strata Unifier for the network ACD
application.
CTI-UNIFIER3 – Strata Unifier license to support up to three Strata CIX nodes
CTI-UNIFIER5 – Strata Unifier license to support up to five Strata CIX nodes
CTI-UNIFIER10 – Strata Unifier license to support up to ten Strata CIX nodes
Important! To run Network ACD applications, Strata Unifier must be running on the ACD server.
MAS Systems
Important! All references to the Media Application Server (MAS) in this book, refer to the 1U /
2U MAS and MicroMAS, unless specified otherwise.
The procedures below are required to generate licenses for MAS.
To generate a license from FYI
Follow the latest instructions posted on http://fyi.tsd.toshiba.com.
Note When the Network ACD is used, Strata ACD and Strata Unifier must be the only application
on the server. Other applications must run on separate servers.
To register a license
Upload and activate the license obtained from FYI using eManager. Please refer to the
eManager chapter in the Strata CIX Programming Manual.
Note If you are installing TASKE or Insight, you can specify the quantity in the same license
generation screen, and all the licenses are generated together. Only TASKE can be used for
Network ACD.
