Auto repeater function

(U.S.A. version only)
The U.S.A. version automatically activates the repeater set-
tings (duplex ON/OFF, duplex direction, tone encoder
ON/OFF) when the operating frequency falls within or outside
of the general repeater output frequency range. The offset
and repeater tone frequencies are not changed by the auto
repeater function, reset these frequencies, if necessary.
Initial set mode
USING
SETTING THE AUTO REPEATER FUNCTION
Activates for duplex only.
q Turn power ON while pushing [
set mode.
w Push [
J] or [
(H/L)(SET) (TONE)
appears as shown above.
e Rotate [DIAL] to turn the auto repeater function ON
("ON1" and "ON2") or OFF.
r Turn power OFF to exit initial set mode.
Activates for duplex and tone.
