NOTICE
When threading, we recommend you use
the slowest speed possible and make multi-
ple light cuts. This will give you better con-
trol of when to engage/disengage the half-
nut and prevent damaging the workpiece or
lathe.

The thread dial is not used for metric or
fractional TPI threading. You must leave the
halfnut lever engaged from the beginning
until the threads are complete for these
threading operations.
