Administrator Parameters

Parameter Explanation
Scanned File Sets the file defaults for scanned documents:
Settings
Maximum File Size (E-mail): Specify the maximum

image size that can be sent as an attachment. Enter a
number from 0–15,000 KB. To return to the default
setting, touch Clear, then OK.
Clear File After Scan: Specify the length of time (1
•
day, 1 week, or manual) before files are automatically
deleted from Mailboxes and images referred to via
URLs in sent E-mails are deleted. Select Manual to
delete files/images using the Delete All Scan Job
parameter.
Delete All Scan Job: Manually delete all data (i.e.,
•
files and images) from all the Mailboxes on the
printer's hard drive. The system prompts you to
confirm the delete.
Timer Sets the default timing settings:
Copy Reset Timer: Specify the length of time (10–
•
600 seconds in 10-second intervals) from COPY job is
complete, until the CX3641 resets the settings to their
defaults.
Operation Timer: Specify the length of time (10–600
•
seconds in 10-second intervals) from the last user
operation until the CX3641 displays the "waiting"
screen.
Job Reset Timer: Specify the length of time (10–600
•
seconds in 10-second intervals) from when a copy or
scan process is paused until the CX3641 cancels the
job.
Security Sets the default security settings:
Access Control (enable Job Accounting here)

User Mode Logout

LDAP User Mode for E-mail: Enable/Disable

Address Book security: When ON and the

administrator password is set, password
authentication is carried out before all operations for
E-Mail Address Book/FTP Server List, and E-Mail
address importing operation by LDAP. When OFF, the
password authentication is not carried out.

Legal Default Sets the default paper size (i.e., Legal 13 or Legal 14)
that the MFP uses if it detects a legal-size document when
Original Size is set to "Auto".
Dealer's Use the Soft Keyboard to enter the Telephone number,
Information Fax number, and E-Mail address for your dealer.
