All of these formats can be opened using the fi le dialog that appears from the Add Texture Preset menu command on
the Paint Presets palette menu. Video fi les normally appear with the poster frame as a thumbnail.
Movie options
Once a movie fi le has been applied to a face in the scene, a Movie tab appears in the Inspector palette. This tab
includes options to make the movie Loop and set the Volume of the movie sound.

Tutorial: Making a Television Come Alive

To apply a movie to a television model, follow these steps.
1 Locate the Help\Tutorials\Television folder under the directory where Atmosphere was installed. It should be a
path similar to c:\Program Files\Adobe\Atmosphere\Help\Tutorials\Television. After navigating to your folder in the
open dialog, select the fi le television.atmo and press Open.
2 Select Window > Paint Presets to open the Paint Presets palette.
3 From the palette menu, select the Add Texture Preset menu command. Locate the movie.mov fi le in the same
folder as step 1 and click the Open button.
4 Select View > Player View (F4) to open the Player view. Then select the View > Fit All (Ctrl+0) menu command to
fi t the television object in the Player view.
5 Click on the Apply Texture Tool (K) in the Texture Tools toolbar, and select the movie preset. In the Surface tab
in the Inspector palette, choose Face from the drop-down list and click on the television face in the Player view to
apply the movie.
6 Click on the Movie tab in the Inspector palette and set the Loop option and Volume for the applied movie.
