Parameter requirements: Set "Bits per second" to 9,600, "Data bits" to 8, "Parity" to
"none", "Stop bits" to 1 and "Flow control" to "none". Select VT100 as terminal emulation.
The specific procedure is as follows:
1)
Select [Start/Programs/Accessories/Communications/HyperTerminal] to enter the
HyperTerminal window, and then click the
connection. The connection description interface appears, as shown below.

Type the name of the new connection in the connection description interface and
click <OK>. The system pops up the following interface. Select the serial port to be
used from [Connect using].
