8.0 DECOMMISSIONING
AND DISPOSAL
Respect all safety and heating information (refer to the "Safety" section). Follow the
manufacturer's attached instructions.
8.1 DECOMMISSIONING
"Decommissioning" refers to the final shutdown and disassembly of the device. After
decommissioning, the appliance may be installed in other units, sold privately, or disposed of.
WARNING
Electrical connections can only be disconnected by qualified personnel. For
decommissioning, first turn off the device (refer to the "Operation" chapter), then
disconnect it from the power supply.
8.2 DISASSEMBLY
To remove the appliance, it must be accessible for disassembly and disconnected from the
power supply.
Loosen the fastening of the appliance.
Remove the silicone joints.
Lift the appliance upward to remove it from the worktop.
Remove all other accessories.
Dispose of the old appliance and any dirty accessories.
8.3 DISPOSAL
Dispose of the packaging provided with the appliance in a sustainable manner. Recycling
packaging material helps save resources and reduce waste.
