• Observe the required clearance distances:

• In the case of thin worktops, there must be a sufficiently rigid support plate on the unit.
• The back wall of the floor unit must be adapted for the air duct.
• The drawers and/or shelves in the floor unit must be removable.
• For a correct installation, the drawers of the floor unit must be shortened depending on
the installation situation.
• Ensure proper air ventilation for the installed cooktop. An air gap of at least 3 mm
between the underside of the counterop and the upper side of the drawer/bezel is
mandatory to prevent performance losses. The built-in situation of the cooktop in the
cabinet affects the capability of the cooktop: the integrated cooling unit needs suffcient
cold air at the inlets to avoid early derating.
1. Minimum clearance of 60 mm
between the worktop cut-out and
the rear edge of the worktop.
2. Minimum clearance of 250 mm to an
adjacent cabinet or wall to the left or
right of the worktop cut-out.
3. Minimum clearance of 800 mm
between the worktop and the wall
unit.
