Moisten food spills with a damp cloth before removing residues with a special scraper for
ceramic glass cooktops. Then clean the cooktop again.
Burnt sugar and melted plastic must be removed immediately while still hot with a glass
scraper. Then clean the cooktop again as described above.
Small traces of soil that end up on the cooktop while cleaning potatoes or salad can
scratch the surface when moving pots. Ensure no traces of soil remain on the cooktop.
Color changes in the ceramic glass surface have no effect on functionality and stability.
These changes are not related to the material but are due to food residues that have not
been removed and have burned onto the surface.
Rubbing the bottoms of pots on the surface (especially aluminum ones) or using
unsuitable cleaners can cause shiny areas that are difficult to remove with normal
cleaners; therefore, the cleaning process may need to be repeated several times. Using
harsh cleaners or scrubbing with pot bottoms may wear off the decorations on the
cooktop over time and may contribute to the appearance of dark spots.
WARNING
All defects described are mostly aesthetic and do not directly impair the appliance's
operation. The user is responsible for only routine cleaning and maintenance
operations without manipulating the structural aspects and components to enhance

case of malfunction or operation deemed abnormal, contact Authorized Technical
Assistance.
