POWER LEVEL CHART
5.31 MANUAL/AUTOMATIC FAN
By default the fan is set in automatic mode, so the fan speed is regulated automatically
following the cooking zone with the highest power currently active.
Activating the manual mode:
1.
With the hob switched on, select the fan power setting display and then choose the
desired fan speed on the slider area sensor field from 0 (fan switched off) to P.
Activating the automatic mode:
1.
Press and hold the fan power setting display for 3 seconds to activate the automatic
mode. "A" is displayed on the fan power setting display.
NOTE
•
In automatic mode, increasing the power of a cooking zone will cause an
automatic increase of the fan speed; decreasing the power of a cooking zone will
cause an automatic decrease of the fan speed.
•
The actual steam generation of the cooking process is delayed; so, when
changinng the cooking level, the automatic fan level will follow generally after a
20 seconds delay.
5.32 FAN AFTER-RUN
The system has a follow-up / after-run function, which should ensure that any existing odour
and steam can be extracted. After completing the cooking process and switching off the hob,
the fan continues to run for 5 minutes at level 1.
NOTE
•
The fan after run is indicated by a pulsating dot on the fan power level display.
•
The fan speed can also be changed in the after-run. After-run ends immediately
if 0 is selected.
•
When the automatic mode is selected, "A" remains in the display. In manual
mode the after-run level 1 is displayed.
