5.7 ENERGY SAVING TIPS
When purchasing pots, pay attention to the dimensions: the indicated diameter usually refers
to the upper edge, which is often larger than the bottom.
•
Pressure cookers are particularly suitable because they use pressure in hermetically
sealed spaces, allowing for time and energy savings. Shorter cooking times help retain
vitamins in food.
•
Always ensure that the pressure cooker contains a sufficient amount of liquid to avoid
overheating, which could damage both the pot and the cooktop.
•
Always cover pots with appropriately sized lids and use pots of the right size for the
amount of food being prepared.
5.8 TIME LIMIT FUNCTION
The time limit function is an important safety feature that automatically turns off the cooking
zones after a certain period of inactivity. The shut-off time is indicated in the table below. Any
user operation related to the cooking zone will reset this time limit.
5.9 PERMANENT KEY ACTIVATION
If two or more sensor keys are pressed simultaneously (for example, if a pot is accidentally
placed on a key), no function will be activated. The system performs a check on the
permanent activation of the keys: if a sensor remains activated for more than 10 seconds, the
cooktop enters OFF mode, emitting an acoustic signal for 10 seconds and displaying "Er03"
until the permanent activation is recognized. As soon as the permanent activation ends, the
cooktop can return to normal operation.
