Locating Device Slots

The PowerMate has six storage device slots (see the figure
on the following page):
T
a 3 1/2-inch accessible device slot contains the standard
1.44-MB diskette drive
T
two internal hard disk drive slots (1-inch high, thin-
height) with a hard disk installed in one slot.
T
three accessible device slots (1.6-inch high, half-height)
In multimedia models, one accessible device slot
contains the standard CD-ROM reader.
Other accessible devices (diskette drive, tape drive, CD-
ROM reader) can be installed in the 5 1/4-inch slots.
A hard disk with a 5 1/4-inch form factor can be
installed in the 5 1/4-inch slots.
