Downloading System Files
The File Download page contains parameters for downloading system files. To download system files:
1.
Click System > File Management > File Download. The File Download Page opens:

The
File Download Page is divided into sections based on the following system file types:
•
Firmware Download - Contains the device software.
•
Configuration Download - Contains the user-defined device configuration.
The firmware files manage the device and the configuration files configure the device for transmissions. Only one
type of download can be performed at any given time.
Firmware Download
The Firmware Download section contains the following fields:
•
Firmware Download — Indicates that the download is for firmware. If Firmware Download is selected, the
Configuration Download fields are grayed out.
•
TFTP Server IP Address — Specifies the TFTP Server IP Address from which files are downloaded.
•
Source File Name — Specifies the file to be downloaded.
•
Destination File — Specifies the destination file type to which to the file is downloaded. The possible field
values are:

Software Image — Downloads the Image file.
–
Boot Code — Downloads the Boot file.
