IPP Client Setup - Windows Vista
For Windows Vista, do the following procedure to use the Windows IPP Client with the Printer
Server. There is no need to install the additional software.
1. Select the Add Printer.
2. Select Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth Printer, and click "Next".

3. If the desired printer is not shown in the list, click The printer I want isn't listed.
4. Click Select a shared printer by name, and enter the URL of the IPP Server as follows,
where ip_address represents the IP Address of the IPP Server, and 631 is the port
number.

These entries are case sensitive. They must be
entered as shown, with "ipp" in lower case, and
P1 in UPPER case.
