WARNING!
Do not place foreign objects in the sensor's analytical region (except per the Cleaning Procedure above); otherwise, the
infrared beam can be partially blocked, causing the sensor to generate false readings. All objects must be removed
from the sensor's analytical region for it to function properly.
Failure to follow this warning can result in serious personal injury or death.

Calibration Cap Cleaning Procedure

In general, the calibration cap should not require any maintenance. However, if it is used in extremely dirty or solvent
based environments, it may be necessary to clean the light sensor if the calibration cap performance is not adequate.
• Use a clean, dry applicator and isopropyl alcohol to gently swab the light sensor (→
Figure 23
).
NOTICE
Never immerse the calibration cap in water or damage will occur.
