Trouble
Turbine doesn't spin.
Conveyor doesn't work.
Possible reason
Wrong settings of DC2
temperature regulator.
DC2 temperature regulator
fault.
BT1 temperature sensors fault. Check continuity of the sensor.
BT2 temperature sensors fault. Check continuity of the sensor.
Open circuit.
Relay K3 fault.
M1 motor fault.
KM2 contactor fault.
Mechanical issues in conveyor
or chain belt.
M2 motor fault.
Wrong DD stepper driver
settings.
Remedy
Set up the temperature regulator.
When properly set, after turning
machine on to heating up stage,
there should be 24 Vdc present on
terminals 5 and 6 of the regulator.
Replace fault component.
Replace fault component.
Replace fault component.
Check continuity between:
•
EK1-EK6 heaters
•
VS1, VS2 solid-state relays
KM1 contactor
•
•
DC1 controller
•
DC2 temperature regulator
DC3 thermal cut-out
•
Restore connection, face up pitted
contacts, tighten loosen contacts.
Check relay operation.
Replace fault component.
Check motor coils continuity. Check
if there is ground fault. Check if the
motor's rotor is not stalled.
Replace fault component.
Check contactor operation.
Replace fault component.
Check operation of conveyor's
moving parts. Inspect and see if the
bearing hubs that holds both shafts
of the conveyor are not worn out.
Replace the bearing hubs if
necessary.
Check motor coils continuity. Check
to see if the motor's rotor is not
stalled.
Replace fault component.
