Disassembly/Reassembly
Back Cover
Refer to Figure 4-4 for the following procedures.
1. | With the keyboard in the closed position, place the computer face
down on a soft clean surface.
2. — Ifthe computer is equipped with the optional RGB video board,
remove the 2 screws at A that secure the RGB connector.
3. | To remove the cover, remove the four screws at B that secure the
cover and carefully lift the cover from the computer.
NOTE: The four screws that hold the back cover on, also secure the
main logic board. When the cover is removed, the main logic board will
stay in place as long as the computer is in the face down position.
NOTE: Upon reassembly, assure that all ribbon cables and wires are prop-
erly placed to avoid pinching.
Reverse the previous steps for reassembly.
