The following connectors are illustrated in Figure 1-4. For a more detailed
description of the connectors and their pinouts, refer to Chapter 2, "Installa-
tion."
e Parallel connector — Parallel Centronics-type output for a parallel
printer or other peripheral.
e —_ Serial connector — RS-232C DTE input/output for a printer, modem,
or other serial peripheral or communication device.
e@ —_ Bus expansion connector — Bus signals for use with an expansion
chassis.
@ Phone/modem connector — Input/output for a phone or extemal
modem.
