Network topology:

Number of stations:
32 stations in each segment without repeater. With repeaters can be extended
up to 127 stations
Maximum bus length without repeater:

Maximum bus length with Repeater:
Line amplifiers (Repeater) can be used to extend the maximum bus length into
the 10 kilometer range (6.21 miles). The number of possible repeaters is at
least 3 and can be up to 10 depending on the manufacturer.
Transmission speed:
9.6; 19.2: 93.75; 187.5; 500; 1500 kbit/s, up to 12 MBit/s is set automatically

To enable communication between the control unit and the device, use the origi-

nal Beckhoff device master file.

Address settings
The address is set using the two rotary selector switches.

Disconnect the fieldbus coupler from the power supply
Set the rotary selector switch to the desired position using a screwdriver:

Top switch denotes the unit digit

Bottom switch denotes the tens digit
Make sure that the switches engage properly.
Restore the power supply of the fieldbus coupler
