Direct sunlight

Direct sunlight
Damage to device.
The device can overheat or materials can deteriorate due to UV exposure.
• Protect the device from direct sunlight. Consider use of optional sunshield.
• Make sure that the maximum permissible ambient temperature is not exceeded. Refer to
5.1.4

Proper mounting

Incorrect mounting at Zone 0
Risk of explosion in hazardous areas.
• Ensure sufficient tightness at the process connection.
• Observe the standard IEC/EN 60079-14.
NOTICE
Incorrect mounting
The device can be damaged, destroyed, or its functionality impaired through improper
mounting.
• Before installing ensure there is no visible damage to the device.
• Make sure that process connectors are clean, and suitable gaskets and glands are used.
• Mount the device using suitable tools. Refer to the information in Technical specifications
