Many malfunctions and faults that can occur in daily operation can be easily
remedied. You can save time and money in many cases, as you do not need to call
the Miele Customer Service Department.

The following tables are designed to help you to find the cause of a malfunction or a
fault and to resolve it.

Cause and remedy
The suction hose in the water container is not inserted
correctly or not vertical.
Correct the position of the suction hose:
The drain hoses are blocked.
Descale the combination steam oven (see "Cleaning
and care" – "Care").
If the fault message appears again, contact the
Miele Customer Service Department.
The door has not locked for cleaning with
Switch the combination steam oven off and back on
again.
If the fault message appears again, contact the

The maximum operating time for an operating mode
has been exceeded and the auto switch off has been
triggered.
Switch the combination steam oven off and back on
