2.6. Check the SocketServer Version

Check the SocketServer version installed on the DeviceMaster against the latest SocketServer version
available through Technical Support.
1. If necessary, start PortVision DX: Start > Pepperl+Fuchs > PortVision DX.
Note: The SocketServer version displays for the DeviceMaster under the Software Version column..
2. If desired, check with Technical Support for the latest SocketServer version.
3. If necessary, use the next subsection to upload SocketServer. If you do not need to upload the latest
version of SocketServer, you are ready to install the device NS-Link device driver using Device Driver
Installation on Page 17.
