Before putting a TimeTwin Digital welding instal-
lation into service

Safety

Danger from incorrect operation.
Operating the machine incorrectly can cause serious injury and damage!
Utilisation for in-
TimeTwin Digital may ONLY be used for MIG/MAG tandem ("twin") welding. Utili-

Machine set-up
The power sources are tested to "Degree of protection IP23", meaning:

In accordance with IP23, the welding installation can be set up and operated out-
doors. However, the built-in electrical components must be protected against di-
rect wetting.

A welding machine that topples over can easily kill someone!
The power sources' venting-ducts are a very important safety feature. When
choosing the machines' location, make sure that it is possible for the cooling air
to enter and exit unhindered through the louvers on the front and back of the
machines. Any electroconductive metallic dust from e.g. grinding-work must not
be allowed to get sucked into the machines
Mains connec-
The welding installation is designed to run on the mains voltage given on the

power source rating plate. If your version of the installation does not come with
the mains cables and plugs ready-mounted, they must be mounted in accordance
with your national regulations and Standards. For details of fuse protection of
the mains supply lead, please see the Technical Data given in the Operating Inst-
ructions manual for the power source.
