This chapter explains how to clean the air filter in your Matrox 4Sight XV6, and
how to connect various devices to the Matrox 4Sight XV6 motherboard.

Cleaning the air filter

The Matrox 4Sight XV6 unit contains a polyurethane air filter. The air filter
prevents dust and dirt from entering the unit. To ensure efficient cooling of the
Matrox 4Sight XV6 unit, you must regularly clean the air filter as follows:
1. Before cleaning, turn off the Matrox 4Sight XV6 unit and unplug the power cord.
2. Using a household vacuum, turned on at a low setting, position the vacuum nozzle
in front of the air vents on the front panel of Matrox 4Sight XV6. Excess dust and
particles will be safely removed through the air vents.
