32 Chapter 3: Cleaning the air filter and adding devices to Matrox 4Sight XV6
To connect your PCIe board to the motherboard, follow the steps below:
1. Remove the chassis cover. For instructions, refer to Removing the
Matrox 4Sight XV6 chassis cover section, earlier in this chapter.
2. Using a Phillips #2 screw driver, remove the metal cover from the appropriate slot's
opening on the back panel of your Matrox 4Sight XV6.
3. Position your PCIe board in the selected slot, as illustrated below.

4. Press the board firmly but carefully straight down into the connector of the slot.
5. If required by the add-on board, you can connect it to auxiliary power. There are
two 15-pin SATA power connectors and two 6+2 pin PCIe power connectors
available from the power supply for auxiliary power. See Electrical specifications
section, in Appendix B: Technical reference for more information.
