Charge Status
The LEDs on the battery also show the battery's
state of charge.
To determine the battery's state of charge:

► Press the button (1) on the battery.
The LEDs on the battery will glow or flash
green for about 5 seconds and indicate the
state of charge (see illustration).
For example:
If four green LEDs glow continuously: full charge.
If one green LED is flashing: less than 20 %
charge.

Beeps
An audible beep confirms contact between the
sprayer and battery.
A beep also sounds when the sprayer is
switched on.
A short beep will sound when the sprayer
switches off automatically after a work break of
about 15 minutes.
► If beeps sound in quick succession for 15 sec‐
onds:

There is a malfunction in the battery.
► If 4 long beeps sound one after another:

Battery has low charge.

■ Make sure the battery is removed before start‐
ing assembly. Never operate your sprayer
without a properly mounted spray gun, lance
and nozzle,
supplied or expressly approved by STIHL,
80-100%
60-80%

To connect the spray gun and lance:
► Switch off the sprayer,
0-20%
► Remove the battery,
► Push the union nut (3) onto the hose (2).
► Push the hose onto the connector on the con‐
trol handle (1).
► Screw home the union nut by hand and tighten
it down firmly.
► Push the union nut (3) onto the lance (2).
► Push the lance into the spray gun (1).
► Screw home the union nut by hand and tighten
it down firmly.

■ To reduce the risk of severe injury from chemi‐
cal contact, always switch off the sprayer,
remove the battery, relieve any remaining sys‐
tem pressure and lock the trigger switch
before attempting to remove the spray gun or
lance.
