SETTING THE FRAME EYELET AND TAKE-UP WIRE FOR THE
NEEDLE THREADS
Set the frame eyelet

Lower it for more
needle thread, raise it for less needle thread in the
stitch.
Set the take-up wire (C) for the right needle thread
as low as possible. Raising the take-up wire increases
the right needle thread loop. After loosening set
screw (D) take-up wire (C) can be raised or lowered.
Retighten set screW (D).
PRESSER FOOT PRESSURE
The pressure on the presser foot should be just as
strong as to feed the fabric to be sewn uniformly.
The pressure e,xerted by the presser spring should be
slightly stronger than the pressure exerted by the
spring(s) for the presser foot yielding section(s).
The regulator (E, Fig.
7)
is located left on the top
of the machine arm. Turning it clockwise increases the
pressure, turning counterclockwise acts the reverse.
CHANGING THE NEEDLE(S)

Switch-off main switch before changing need-
les! When using clutch- motors without actua-
tion lock wait until the motor has stopped
· totally!
Turn- machine.pulley in operating direction until the
needles are in the upmost position.
Unthread the eye of the needle to be changed.
Loosen the screw

for needle and draw the
needle out of the needle holder.
Insert the shank of the new needle as far as it will
go into the needle holder and with the long groove of
needle -facing to the front.
Retighten screw f~r needle and thread the needle ey~.

Switch-off main switch before setting the
stitch length! When using clutch motors with-
out actuation lock wait until the motor h6s
stopped totally!
Before the machine leaves the factory, the stitch
length change mecham.sm is locked. After removing
cover (A, Fig. 9) and looseni'ii"QScrew (8, Fig. 10)
lever (C) can be swung in the direction of the arrow
to the left to unlock the stitch length change mech-
anism. The required hexagon socket wrench is a com-
ponent of the machine accessories.

hoch zur Mitte der Befestigungsschraube (B) ein. Tiefer-.
stellen ergibt rnehr. hOherstellen weniger Nadelfaden in der
Naht.
Stellen Sie den AbzugsbUgel (C) fUr den rechten Nadelfaden
so tief wie mOglich. HOherstellen des BUgels vergrOBert die
rechte Nadelfadenschlinge. Nach lOsen des Gewindestiftes (D)
kann der AbzugsbUgel (C) hOher oder tiefer gestellt werden.
Ziehen Si8 den Gewindestift (D) wieder an.
OROCKERFUSSDRUCK
Der Oruck auf den OrUckerfuB soll gerade so stark sein,· daB
ein gleichmiiBiger P!ahguttransport gewi:ihrleistet ist. Oer
Oruck der OrUckerfeder soll gerade etwas sti:irker sein,

der Druck der Feder(n) fUr das (die) OrOckerfuBseiten-
teil
(e).
Die Stellschraube {E, Fig.
7-)
befindet sich links oben auf
dem Maschinenarm. Orehen im Uhrzeigersinn verst8rkt den
Oruck, drehen im Gegenuhrzeigersinn
v~rringert
ihn.
AUSWECHSELN DER NADEL(N)
Schalten Sie vor dem Auswechseln der Nadeln den
Hauptschalter a·us! Warten Sie bei Kupplungsmotoren
ohne Beti3tigungssprerre den Stillstan~ des Motors
ab!
Drehen Sie die Handrad-Riemenscheibe in Ni:ihrichtung bis die
Nadeln in der oberen Stellung sind.
Fi:ideln Sie das Ohr der zu wechselnden Nadei aus.
LOsen Sie die Schraube (A, Fig.
8)'
fUr die Nadel und ziehen
Sie die Nadel aus dem Nadelhalter.
Stecken Sie den Kolben der neuen Nadel bis zum Anschlag in
den Nadelhalter und so, daB die lange Rinne der Nadel nach
vorne zeigt.
ZiehEm Sie die Schraube fUr die NEidel wieder an und f.§deln
Sie das -Nadel6hr ein.

EINSTELLUNG DER STICHLANGE
Schalten Sie vor dem Einstellen der Stichli:inge den
Hauptschalter aus! Warten Sie ~ei Kupplungsrnotoren
ohne Betiitigungssperre den St~llstand des Motors
ab!
Vor dem Versand der Maschine wird die Stichl.§ngenverstellung
blockiert. Entfernt man den Oeckel {A, Fig. 9) und lOst die
Schraube (8, Fig. 10), kann der Hebel (C) in Pfeilrichtung
nach links geschwenkt werden und die Arretierung der Stich-
li:ingenverstellung ist aufgehoben. Der ben6tigte Sechskant-
schraubendreher ist im Zubeh6r der Maschine enthalten.
