Troubleshooting
Alert Symptom
The battery power
within the Combo is
very low.
Certain features are
not available on the
functionality package
installed on your
device.
Problem
The Rugby does not
turn on.
The distance of the
Rugby is reduced.
The Combo is not
working properly.
Possible causes and solutions
Charge the Combo.
It may be possible to upgrade
the functionality package on
your Rugby. Contact your dealer/
supplier for further information.
Possible causes
The batteries are low
or dead.
Dirt is reducing the
laser output.
The Rugby is not
rotating. It may be
self-levelling or in
H.I.Alert.
The Combo is out of
usable range.
The batteries of the
Combo are low.
Suggested solutions
Check the batteries and
change or charge the batter-
ies if necessary. If the prob-
lem continues, return the
Rugby to an authorised ser-
vice centre for service.
Clean the windows of the
Rugby and the Combo. If the
problem continues, return
the Rugby to an authorised
service centre for service.
Check for proper operation
of the Rugby.
Move closer to the Rugby.
For normal operation, the
Combo works up to 300 m
(1,000').
Check the low battery sym-
bol on the Combo display.
Change the batteries.
