Detaching the tablet from the keyboard base

When detaching the tablet from the keyboard base while it is turned on, note the following points.
I M P ORTANT
Before detaching the tablet, confirm the following things.
l
Save the necessary data.
l
Close files you have opened from removable disks and network drives.
l
Remove peripheral devices connecting to the tablet and the keyboard base.
l
Do not detach the tablet in the conditions below.
l
When playing/recording audio files or displaying motion video such as MPEG files.
l
When using communication software or network functions.
l
NOTE
Do not detach the tablet in the rain.
l
1. Open the display.
1. Pull out the carrying handle.
If you do not pull out the carrying handle before opening the display, the computer may fall over due to the weight of the display.
l
2. Rotate the display latch (A) to the arrow direction.
3. Hold the dents with both hands, and lift the display slightly.
4. Hold the side of the computer with either of your hands and then lift up the display to open.
