Anti-stick func- As the arc becomes shorter, the welding voltage may also fall so that the stick
tion electrode is more likely to stick to the workpiece. This may also cause the stick
electrode to burn out.
Electrode burn-out is prevented by activating the anti-stick function. If the stick
electrode begins to stick, the welding system immediately switches the welding
current off. The welding process can be resumed without problems once the
stick electrode has been detached from the workpiece.
The anti-stick function can be activated or deactivated in the Setup menu, see
page 81.
