Service, maintenance and disposal

General

The welding system only requires a minimum of service and maintenance under
normal operating conditions. However, several points must be observed in order
for the welding system to remain operational for years to come.

NOTE!
Air inlet and outlet openings must not be blocked or even partially covered.

WARNING!
Before starting work, switch off all the devices and components involved and
disconnect them from the grid.
Secure all devices and components involved so they cannot be switched back
on.
After opening the device, use a suitable measuring instrument to check that
electrically charged components (such as capacitors) have been discharged.

Check mains plug and mains cable, as well as the welding torch, intercon-
necting hosepack, and ground earth connection for damage
Check if the all-round clearance of the device is 0.5 m (1 ft. 8 in.) so that
cooling air can circulate unimpeded
