CNC PLASMA TABLE SET-UP
LOCATION
• The Eastwood Versa-Cut 4' X 4' CNC Plasma Table must be located in
an indoor area, on a firm, clean, level surface. Having a solid, level con-
crete floor is ideal. If the table is fully loaded with water and a 4' x 4' x
0.25" steel plate, total machine weight could exceed 780 lbs. [354kg].
• The table should be placed in an area away from flammables, with
ample ventilation. A minimum of 6 feet [1.8m] of free space must be
maintained around all sides and above the CNC Plasma Table. This
is to allow for adequate ventilation and to allow room for a person to
access all sides for maintenance purposes. Do not store anything in the
immediate vicinity of the table.
FIRE OR EXPLOSION HAZARD!
Keep flammables a minimum of 6 feet [1.8m] from the edge
of the Eastwood Versa-Cut 4' X 4' CNC Plasma Table.
The CNC Plasma Table generates heat, sparks, dust and gas
during operation.
• The temperature environment for proper operation must be between
32°F and 110°F [0°C and 43°C]. The table may not function properly in
extreme ambient temperature conditions.
• Plan the location to minimize the transfer time and effort required to
load sheet metal.
• The table requires 120±10% VAC, 50/60 Hz, 1 Ph power from a
grounded NEMA 5-15R outlet capable of supplying 5A.
CONNECTING THE EASTWOOD VERSA-CUT 40 CNC PLASMA CUTTER
The Eastwood Versa-Cut 4' X 4' CNC Plasma Table is configured to work
directly with the Eastwood Versa-Cut 40 CNC Plasma Cutter (#66725, not
included). Follow the instruction manual included with the plasma cutter. Once
finished, connect the Plasma Table to the Plasma Cutter:
• Insert the Plasma Cutter to CNC Table Cable 10' [3m] 7-Pin connector
to the Control Box and lock it (FIG 19).
• The Plasma Table will now be able to trigger the plasma cutter and
receive the arc voltage for automatic torch height control.
