2.2.1 Maintenance & Cleaning
Unplug the power cord of the hardware device first before cleaning. Use a brush to clean the
dust on it. Do not wipe the chassis with any volatile liquid (such as Cleaning Naphtha) to
avoid damaging it. Please use a slightly damp cloth with soapy water or soft cleaner to clean
the 7-segment display and LCD on the front panel. For internal cleaning, please use a
low-pressure air gun to clean the dust inside the instrument or send the device back to the
distributors or agents of Chroma for cleaning.
*It is recommended to clean the instrument regularly once a year.
2.2.2 Calibration & Verification
Be sure to verify the accuracy of the Electronic Load as described in Chapter 12 Verification
every 6 months. If there is service request for the 63200 or the specification does not match,
please contact the global sales and service location listed on the Chroma's web page below:

Installing

The Electric Loads can operate well within the temperature range from 0 ºC to 40 ºC.
However, you must install the Electric Load in an area that has enough space around the unit
for adequate air flowing through and escaping from the back.

2.3.1 Changing Line Voltage

The Electronic Load can operate with a 115/230 Vac input as indicated on the left hand side of
the unit (facing the unit). If the factory set voltage does not correspond to your nominal line
voltage, set the switch to the correct line voltage as shown in Figure 2-1 before plugging in the
power cord and turning on the power.
Line fuses do not need to be changed when the line voltage is changed.
The line fuses will protect the Electronic Load for incorrect voltage
setting.
